SCHLEICH’s success story started with the automatic winding of coils for electromotors. These machines have been manufactured by us for more than 45 years. Throughout the world, more than 1000 machines are currently in operation.
For many years , we are the market leader for this type of winding machines. We were able to reach this position due to perfect know-how, innovative ideas and a consequent integration of the latest electronic components like e.g. PCs into these machines. The graphic user surface allows even inexperienced PC users a user-friendly and fast working with the machines. Our integrated motor database allows to store all winding data (like dimensions of the coil, number of turns, diameter of wire, r.p.m., etc.). Motors that are stored can be found and loaded very quickly. The machine automatically adapts to the new winding electrically and mechanically.
Our winding machines offer a considerably reduced workload in the repair sector and in series production. The product range of our winding machines is very comprehensive and versatile. The application range starts with motors size 56 and ends with motors size 450. We even deliver machines for the generator production for wind turbines.
The operator may choose from numerous standard- and special formers for different windings and coils. First the winding formers are installed in the machine, afterwards the distance between them is automatically adjusted. With this, all mechanical preparation for the coil winding is finished. The following, automatically- running winding process produces perfect coils with a mimimized number of intersections, which may be easily installed in a motor.
