Test Method

Mathematical analysis

The mathematical test is a calculation of values, which are based on the measured results of previous test steps.  The user can freely enter these calculations. Thus you yourself can integrate calculation test steps into a test process.

The calculation takes place within a mathematic test step.

The value calculated within the test step is evaluated according to the limit value or a tolerance guideline. In principle the test step is the same as for example a test step of a resistance test. Instead of measuring a value is calculated and afterwards automatically evaluated by the tester.

A typical mathematic test step is for example the spread calculation of 3 already measured resistance values. Based on the three single values from the resistance measuring steps the tester can evaluate the deviation of the 3 values among each other and compare it with a tolerance guideline.
