This part of IEC 60034 applies for all rotating electrical machines with exception of those, which are subject to other standards, as e.g. IEC 60349.
Machines which fall within the scope of this standard, may also be subject to new, changed or additional requirements from other standards, e.g. IEC 60079 und IEC 60092.
SCHLEICH supplies testers that are especially designed for this standard. They are very user-friendly, ideal in practice and prepare all necessary documents and certificates after the test.
