This consistently leads to technically sophisticated improvements and innovations.

We always provide our customers with the best solution for their needs.

We are also active beyond the boundaries of our company. Our involvement ranges from collaborating with the West Coast University of Applied Sciences and the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences to regularly publishing technical articles on the theory and practice of testing methods in the trade press. In addition, SCHLEICH is a member of the standards working group of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic, and Information Technologies within DIN and VDE).

Our guiding principle: Thinking and acting with a long-term business perspective.

SCHLEICH GmbH is a third-generation, owner-managed family business. We think and act with a long-term perspective. Over the past seven decades, we have built up a wealth of expertise, and our financial performance continues to be characterized by steady growth. With Jan-Philipp Lahrmann joining the management team, the continuity of our leadership is secured for the long term.

Our headquarters have been located in Hemer in the Sauerland region since 1952. Here, with a staff of 150, we develop, design, and manufacture virtually all components—including electrical systems, hardware, software, and mechanical parts—for our wide range of products.

We offer attractive job opportunities in an attractive region and provide our employees with a stable professional environment. Mutual trust, open and fair interactions, and diverse career prospects set us apart as an employer.

If it says SCHLEICH on the label, it’s “Made in Germany.” Guaranteed.

We manufacture with a high degree of vertical integration, the utmost care, and in accordance with the highest quality standards. We develop, design, and manufacture nearly all components—hardware, software, and mechanical parts—for our test devices, systems, and equipment at our company location in Hemer in the Sauerland region. Computer-aided production control and our digital employee information system ensure maximum efficiency and process reliability throughout the entire production chain.

High-performance digital measurement technology—the heart of every testing device—is a core competency of SCHLEICH. All electronic assemblies are developed in-house and are continuously optimized for specific applications. The measurement and electronic circuit boards are manufactured exclusively in-house using high-quality components and high-end processors on our state-of-the-art in-line SMD assembly lines.

In addition, we are able to manufacture a wide variety of accessory components—such as test enclosures, connectors, workpiece carriers with test object holders, robotic grippers, and production lines—using our state-of-the-art machinery.

Last but not least, it is our skilled employees who, with their attention to detail, perseverance, and dedication, ensure the time-tested SCHLEICH quality and help us all get a little better every day.

At SCHLEICH, our goal is to always offer the highest-quality and most technically advanced products on the market!

Curiosity is the foundation of all innovation

In business, standing still means falling behind. Research and development is the solution—and at SCHLEICH, it is one of our cornerstones. And because innovations are only truly innovative if they have practical value, collaboration with our customers is our top priority.

What transforms a mere idea into a true innovation in an economic sense is its practical and economic value, along with the constant question of where improvements can still be made.

SCHLEICH is constantly committed to developing new technologies. Our engineers and developers approach their work with curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm. We conduct research and development in close collaboration with our customers. After all, it is their specifications and goals that we aim to achieve. And it is only through collaboration as equals that technically sophisticated improvements and innovations can be realized.

Innovative strength grows with expertise. With over 70 years of experience and the theoretical and practical expertise of our employees, we have established ourselves as a valued development partner for our customers.

SCHLEICH is one of Germany's most innovative companies

Since 2012, SCHLEICH has been awarded the “TOP 100 Innovator” seal of approval five times for its innovation management.

The TOP 100 Innovation Competition is based on an independent, scientifically sound process and is not funded by companies with outside interests or sponsors. Any company wishing to become a TOP 100 innovator undergoes a thorough selection process in which the state of development of its innovation management is examined in detail. The analysis focuses on both the current state and the future viability of a company. It is not individual innovations that are evaluated, but rather innovation management as a whole.

To ensure that all companies have an equal opportunity, the award is given in three size categories: up to 50 employees, 51 to 200 employees, and more than 200 employees.

In the “51 to 200 employees” category, we once again emerged victorious in 2022 in the TOP 100 competition, which is unique in Germany. Following a rigorous scientific pre-selection process, we advanced to the expert jury round, where we received the coveted award for our company’s innovative achievements.

With this, SCHLEICH has once again proven that it is one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany.
