SCHLEICH wins the most prestigious innovation competition for small and medium-sized businesses—for the fifth time!
… and the winner is …
SCHLEICH, again!
In the “51 to 200 employees” category, we once again distinguished ourselves in the TOP100 competition, which is unique in Germany. Following a rigorous scientific preliminary screening process, we advanced to the expert jury round, where we won the coveted award for our company’s innovative achievements. SCHLEICH has thus once again proven itself to be one of Germany’s most innovative medium-sized companies.
This marked the 29th edition of the innovation competition, with academic support provided by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. For the fifth time—following 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020—SCHLEICH secured the coveted award.
Innovative battery tester for automotive applications: GLP2-BT
Among the new developments of recent months, the GLP2-BT stands out in particular. As a versatile traction battery tester, it has quickly established itself on the market and is already being used in a vast number of automotive applications. In particular, its easy integration into (semi-)automated processes is highly valued by many major automakers and their suppliers.
Creative freedom as a driver of innovation
Creative freedom isn’t limited to traditional product development; it’s also a daily reality in manufacturing and development.
Even “missteps” are recognized as a natural part of the process and are welcomed as a necessary step in the further development of our processes and products.
It’s no coincidence that our motto in product development is: Endless Curiosity.
Serial winner in the selection marathon
Typically, more than 3,000 companies express interest in participating in the competition. However, a large proportion of these companies do not go through the selection process because the requirements are too demanding. This makes us all the more proud to have received this award once again, and we are eagerly looking forward to the awards ceremony in Frankfurt am Main.
TOP100 Awards Ceremony in June
We are already looking forward to the TOP100 awards ceremony on June 24 as part of the German SME Summit. There, presenter Ranga Yogeshwar will personally present SCHLEICH with the TOP100 award for outstanding innovation management in 2022.
About TOP100
The TOP100 seal of quality has been awarded to small and medium-sized enterprises for outstanding achievements in innovation since 1993. The project partners are the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) and the Fraunhofer Society.
The selection process is scientifically supervised by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and his team.
Media partners include the manager magazin and impulse are supporting the competition.
