If you intend to perform tests on your test object using only a single test method, one of oursingle-function testersis the ideal choice. For example, we offer the world’s most compact 6 kV AC high-voltage tester. It’s only ½ 19″ wide! This makes it a perfect fit for any workspace.
If the test object also requires a more comprehensive safety and/or functional check, we recommend ourcombination testers/multifunction testers.
These devices conveniently combine various test methods—such as protective conductor, insulation, high-voltage, and leakage current testing—into a single unit. The test method selector integrated into the tester ensures that no test leads need to be reconnected to the test object during the test.
In addition, it is often beneficial to combine safety tests with comprehensive functional tests.
For functional testing, the tester additionally supplies the test object with operating voltage to verify its electrical operating characteristics.
