Perfect and reliable protection against accidental contact

SCHLEICH test booths are a rock-solid and long-lasting investment designed to minimize risks to the operator. Ergonomics and reliability are our top priorities.

In test chambers, a door prevents contact with the test object. The smooth-operating safety door, made of shatterproof, transparent plastic, covers the test object and allows for visual inspection during the test. Tests can only be performed when the safety door is closed. The status of the safety door is continuously monitored by a dual-circuit safety limit switch that complies with standards and is safety-certified, in conjunction with a safety evaluation module. This meets the requirements for positive contact protection.

Closing the test chamber starts the test sequence. Opening the test chamber while a test is in progress will cause the test to stop immediately. The power is turned off and the test object is discharged. Optionally, a safety interlock can be installed to prevent the chamber from being opened during testing.

Complete insulation of the test chamber prevents voltage leakage to the outside. This ensures optimal protection for the operating personnel.

For an additional charge, test enclosures made of ESD-resistant materials can be provided to protect sensitive test objects from electrostatic charging and discharging.
