Every motor manufacturer is familiar with the problem of time-consuming contacting of the motor terminal block. To save considerable time, SCHLEICH has developed a new motor terminal block connector. This innovation was worth four patent applications to us.
The types of engine test plugs are designated according to the size of the engine-side connection thread (M4, M5, M6, M8, or M10). Due to the different spacing of the threaded studs, various versions are available for each type.
To cover the entire range from small to large clipboards, three sizes were defined. Functionally, they all work the same.
The sizes:
| Size 1 | 137 x 89 x 170 mm | H x W x L* |
| Size 2 | 137 x 107 x 180 mm | H x W x L* |
| Size 3 | 137 x 142 x 200 mm | H x W x L* |

The terminal box of the motor test plug offers ample space for convenient connection of the leads. Additional dividers between the terminals and cable guides ensure reliable insulation during surge voltage, high voltage, and partial discharge tests.

The motor test plugs can be equipped with one or two leading grounding probes. These contact the mounting screws of the terminal blocks, which in turn must be connected to the motor housing. The grounding probe can be replaced directly from the outside.
The collets can also be changed without having to disassemble the motor test plug into individual parts.

As an alternative to grounding spikes, a ground wire with an alligator clip can be connected to the motor test plug if required. The terminal box is equipped with a corresponding cable gland. The ground wire is then simply clamped to the motor housing.
