: The mobile specialist for safety inspections. Compact. Ergonomic. Rugged.

The HandHeld is your go-to tool for performing protective conductor and insulation resistance tests in accordance with industry standards. Thanks to its compact, rugged design, you can perform safety tests not only efficiently in the workshop and on the production floor, but also flexibly and on-site—making it ideal for repair, installation, and service calls at the customer’s location.
Rugged technology for outdoor use
Designed specifically for mobile use, the entire testing system is housed in an extremely robust die-cast aluminum enclosure.
Data storage
Thanks to the built-in test result memory, there is no need to manually record the test results.
The measured values can be transmitted to a PC via the serial interface, where they can be archived and printed.
Test methods
| Testing procedure | Specifications & Benefits |
| Protective conductor resistance | Test using 10 A AC with precise four-wire measurement. The results can be evaluated based on either the resistance or the voltage drop. |
| Insulation resistance | The measurement can be based either on resistance or current. |
| Advanced insulation testing | The device offers the option of increasing the test voltage to a maximum of 2,500 V DC. This is an interesting alternative to high-voltage testing with alternating current (where 1,800 V AC rms corresponds to approximately 2,500 V DC). |
Flexibility in contacting
There are two ways to make contact with the test object:
- The integrated test socket: This is where the test object is connected. The tester uses the test probe to manually scan the individual test points one by one.
- Alternatively, the protective conductor of the test object can be connected using a test lead with an alligator clip. The tester uses the test probe to manually scan the individual test points one by one.
Special application: Testing lightning conductors on wind turbines
To do this, the PE minimum current monitoring can be disabled, allowing measurements to be taken with a reduced test current. Using a 50-meter-long test lead, resistances up to 15 Ω can be measured using the four-wire method.
Accessories
A wide range of accessories, such as a carrying case and a shoulder strap, make it easier to use on the go and enhance user comfort.

The test report with PrintCom
Free PC software for saving and printing test results
PrintCom is a simple and efficient solution for saving test results and printing test reports. Test results can be saved inExcel® and printed.
The PrintCom PC software is included with the tester. The tester has a built-in memory for test results. PrintCom can read this memory after each test or at a later time. PrintCom saves the test results on the PC and allows you to print a test report.
Import, display, and print test results.
Digital logging is a breeze with this software: It quickly transfers test data via the serial interface and displays it in a clear, organized format on your PC. Print the test report directly for your customers or save it as a PDF to help protect the environment.
File format for test results
PrintCom saves your test results ina user-friendlyformat directly in Excel®. Enjoy maximum flexibility when generating reports.
- The software already includes a wide selection of preconfiguredExcel® test report templates in various layouts.
- Easy customization: Customize these templates directly inExcel® to meet your needs. For example, add additional information or personalize the test report with your company logo.
- You can create entirely new test report layouts on your own inExcel® at any time.
Online mode
In online mode, the testing device is continuously connected to a PC, and PrintCom is running. As soon as a new test result is generated after a test, it is immediately transmitted to the PC and stored there. Once all tests are complete, the collected results are saved.
Offline mode
Alternatively, the testing device can temporarily store the test results. This allows you to load and save the test results in PrintCom at a later time.
Network
By configuring the save path accordingly in PrintCom, you can, of course, also saveExcel® files to a network location.
