Rotating-field measurement on rotating machines
A rotating field probe can be used to determine the direction of rotation of a stator's rotating magnetic field. For this purpose, three-phase current is applied to the stator. The rotating field probe measures the rotating field using electronic sensors. This has the significant advantage that no rotating parts are required in the rotating field probe. We supply rotating field probes for rotary and linear drives. Whether internal or external rotor – we have the solution. We also offer special probes for synchronous motor stators with tooth windings or for linear motors.
