Functional testers with integrated safety tests

Integrated security checks

Before the functional test is performed, the test equipment first performs safety checks on the device under test(DUT):

  • Protective conductor resistance
  • Insulation resistance
  • High voltage
  • Leakage current 
Integrated functional testing

As part of the functional test, the test device first checks for a short circuit between L and N and then applies a defined operating voltage to the device under test. The following electrical parameters are then measured and evaluated:
