Neutral Zone
The neutral zone is detected at armatures. At armatures it is tested, whether the armature winding is in the correct angular offset to the collector or to the collector lamella respectively. At an assembled DC motor or generator it is checked, whether the brush holder has the correct angle.
The test is extremely fast. This is one of many extraordinary features of the test equipment made by SCHLEICH.
