MotorAnalyzer1
Universal Winding and Electric Motor Test Device
Its compact design and universal application possibilities for troubleshooting de-energized windings distinguish this test device.
Ten reliable tests and test methods are built-in in the device. Thanks to the built-in battery, tests without mains power supply are also possible. It is a versatile tool for electric motor service and repair, electric motor repair, as well as maintenance and servicing.
Key Facts:
- Universal Stator, Armature, Electric Motor, and Transformer Test Device
- 10 Test Methods
- Automatic switch-over between the three electric Motor Connection lines
- Built-in results database
- Transfer of results via RS 232 or USB interface to the PC
- Mains-independent battery operation with battery status indicator
The MotorAnalyzer1 – the universal tool
The MotorAnalyzer1 is a universal test device for testing electric Motors and winding goods. It combines ten different test methods in a user-friendly and mobile device. The combination of test methods, its extremely compact design, and the possibility of battery operation make the MotorAnalyzer1 an ideal tool for on-site use – especially in difficult installation positions.
The MotorAnalyzer1 is suitable for both internal use and for use at your customers' premises. Thanks to mains-independent battery operation, electric Motors (e.g., on a crane) can be reliably tested even in difficult installation positions.
Via an easy-to-use "AutoTest", the MotorAnalyzer1 analyzes the E-Motor fully automatic by means of surge voltage, resistance, insulation resistance and inductance measurement.
In addition to electric Motor testing, the MotorAnalyzer1 offers support for adjusting the brush bridge of DC Motors, the Broken rotor test of Squirrel-cage rotors, the fault location of turn-to-turn faults in the slots of the stator, and much more.

The test protocol with PrintCom
PC software for saving and printing test results
PrintCom is the simple and efficient solution for saving test results and printing test protocols. The test results can be archived and printed in Excel®.
The PC software PrintCom is included with the MotorAnalyzer1. The test device features a built-in test result memory. This can be read out by PrintCom after each test or at a later time. PrintCom stores the test results on the PC and enables the printing of a test protocol.
Read, display, and print test results.
Digital protocol logging is very easy with this software: it quickly transfers the test data via the serial interface and presents it clearly structured on your PC. Print the test protocol directly for your customers or save it as a PDF in an environmentally friendly manner.
Storage format of the test results
PrintCom stores your test results in an operator-friendly manner directly in Excel® format. Benefit from maximum flexibility in protocol creation.
- The software already includes a wide selection of pre-configured Excel® test protocol templates in various layouts.
- Easy customization: Adapt these templates directly in Excel® to your requirements. For example, add supplementary information or design the test protocol custom with your company logo.
- You always have the option to create entirely new test protocol layouts yourself in Excel®.
Online mode
In online operation, the test device is permanently connected to a PC and PrintCom is started. As soon as a new test result is available after a test, it is immediately transferred to the PC and collected there. After completion of all tests, the collected results are saved.
Offline Mode
Alternatively, the test device can temporarily save the test results. This allows the test results to be loaded and saved in PrintCom at a later time.
Network
By configuring the storage path accordingly in PrintCom, the Excel® files can, of course, also be saved on the network.

Areas of application
In the workshop

A helpful measurement function is the AutoTest. With this, you receive all measurement results at a glance in a single fully automatic test run.

Checking an electric motor and transferring the measurement results to a PC. There, the results are stored and printed.

Resistance measurement using two four-wire test tips. Each test tip is held with its two measurement contacts on one bar each. The individual resistances are determined by measuring from bar to bar around the entire commutator.

Turn-to-turn fault test on the stator

High voltage test on the electric motor between the winding and the housing, or between individual windings or to the temperature sensor.

“Neutral zone” adjustment on the DC motor. For this, the brush bridge is rotated until the neutral zone has been precisely found. The MotorAnalyzer indicates the deviation direction-dependently, so that the operator immediately recognizes in which direction they must turn the carbon brush.
