Quickly connect electric motors.
The problem of time-consuming connection to the motor terminal board is well-known to every motor manufacturer. To significantly save time, SCHLEICH has developed a new motor terminal board plug. This innovation was worth four patent applications to us.
The types of motor terminal plugs are designated according to the size of the motor-side Connection thread (M4, M5, M6, M8, or M10). Due to the varying spacings of the threaded bolts, different versions are available for each type.
To cover the entire range from small to large terminal boards, three frame sizes have been defined. Functionally, they all operate identically.
The Frame sizes:

The connection box of the motor terminal plug offers sufficient space for convenient Connection of the cables. Additional separating barriers between the terminals and cable guides ensure safe insulation during surge test, high voltage, and partial discharge tests.
The motor terminal plugs can be equipped with one or two leading Grounding spikes. These contact the mounting screws of the terminal boards, which in turn must be connected to the Motor housing. Changing the Grounding spike is possible directly from the outside.
The collets can also be changed without having to disassemble the motor terminal plug into individual parts.
Alternatively to Grounding spikes, an earth cable with an alligator clip can be connected to the motor terminal plug if required. The Connection housing is equipped with a corresponding cable gland. The earth cable is then simply clamped to the Motor housing.
Simple assembly in 3 steps
Connect the supply line.
Insert the motor terminal plug onto the Connection bolts.
Flip the lever 45°, done! The test can begin.
