Quickly connect electric motors.

The problem of time-consuming connection to the motor terminal board is well-known to every motor manufacturer. To significantly save time, SCHLEICH has developed a new motor terminal board plug. This innovation was worth four patent applications to us.

The types of motor terminal plug are designated according to the size of the motor-side connection thread (M4, M5, M6, M8, or M10). Due to the varying spacing of the threaded bolts, different versions are available for each type.

To cover the entire range from small to large terminal boards, three frame sizes have been defined. Functionally, they all operate identically.

The Frame sizes:

*in clamped condition (lever horizontal)

The motor test connector's " connection box " design provides ample space for convenient cable connection. Additional separators between the terminals and cable guides ensure reliable insulation during surge voltage, high-voltage, and partial discharge tests.

The motor terminal plug can be equipped with one or two leading-edge Grounding spikes . These make contact with the mounting screws of the terminal blocks, which in turn must be connected to the motor housing. The grounding tip can be replaced directly from the outside.

The collets can also be replaced without having to motor terminal plug has to be disassembled into its individual parts.

As an alternative to Grounding spikes , a ground wire can be connected to alligator clip if necessary motor terminal plug . The connection housing is equipped with an appropriate cable gland. The ground wire is then simply clamped to the motor housing.
