Kelvin test tongs
High contact reliability and secure clamping
Kelvin test tongs are used for optimal contacting in four-wire technology. To measure even the smallest resistances in the uΩ and mΩ space, four-wire measurement is an indispensable prerequisite.
Four-wire measurement has the advantage of eliminating the resistance of the measurement lead and the contact resistance of the clamping point. For this, two measurement leads are required per clamping point. Since resistance measurement occurs between two Connections – i.e., between two clamping points – a total of four measurement leads are required. Hence the term "four-wire measurement".
The specialized design of our Kelvin test tongs (four-wire tongs) ensures high contact safety, secure clamping, and low wear in harsh test environments.
