Compact. Ergonomic. Robust.

The HandHeld test device is your specialist for standard-compliant protective earth conductor and insulation resistance tests. Thanks to its small, robust design, you can perform safety tests not only efficiently in the workshop and production, but also flexibly on-site – ideal for repair, assembly, and customer service assignments.
Robust technology for field use
Specialized for mobile use, the entire test technology has been housed in an extremely robust, extruded aluminum enclosure.
Data memory
Thanks to the built-in test result memory, manual recording of test results is no longer necessary.
Via the serial interface, the measured values can be transferred to a PC, where they can be archived and printed.
Test Methods
| Test procedures | Parameters & Advantages |
| protective conductor resistance | Testing with 10 A AC using precise four-wire technology. The evaluation can be performed either via resistance or voltage drop. |
| insulation resistance | The evaluation is optionally performed based on resistance or current. |
| Extended insulation test | The device optionally allows increasing the test voltage to max. 2,500 V DC. This is an interesting alternative to the high voltage test with AC voltage (where 1,800 V ACeff corresponds to approximately 2,500 V DC). |
Flexibility in contacting
There are two options for contacting the device under test:
- The built-in test socket: The device under test is connected via this socket. The operator manually probes the individual test points sequentially with the test tip.
- Alternatively, the protective earth conductor of the device under test can be contacted via a Connection cable with an alligator clip. The operator manually probes the individual test points sequentially with the test tip.
Specialized application: Testing of lightning arresters on wind turbines
For this purpose, the PE minimum current monitoring can be switched off, enabling measurements with reduced Test current. With a 50-meter measurement lead, resistances up to 15 Ω can be measured using four-wire technology.
Accessories
Extensive Accessories such as transport cases and shoulder straps facilitate mobile use and increase working comfort.

The test protocol with PrintCom
Free PC software for saving and printing test results
PrintCom is the simple and efficient solution for saving test results and printing test protocols. The test results can be archived and printed in Excel®.
The PC software PrintCom is included with the device. The device features a built-in test result memory. This can be read out by PrintCom after each test or at a later time. PrintCom saves the test results on the PC and enables the printing of a test protocol.
Read, display, and print test results.
Digital protocol logging is very easy with this software: it quickly transfers the test data via the serial interface and presents it clearly structured on your PC. Print the test protocol directly for your customers or save it as a PDF in an environmentally friendly manner.
Storage format of the test results
PrintCom stores your test results in an operator-friendly manner directly in Excel® format. Benefit from maximum flexibility in protocol creation.
- The software already includes a wide selection of pre-configured Excel® test protocol templates in various layouts.
- Easy customization: Adapt these templates directly in Excel® to your requirements. For example, add supplementary information or design the test protocol custom with your company logo.
- You always have the option to create entirely new test protocol layouts yourself in Excel®.
Online mode
In online operation, the test device is permanently connected to a PC and PrintCom is started. As soon as a new test result is available after a test, it is immediately transferred to the PC and collected there. After completion of all tests, the collected results are saved.
Offline Mode
Alternatively, the test device can temporarily save the test results. This allows the test results to be loaded and saved in PrintCom at a later time.
Network
By configuring the storage path accordingly in PrintCom, the Excel® files can, of course, also be saved on the network.
