GLP1-g
insulation resistance test devices

Test devices with DC test voltage

The GLP1-g insulation test devices are used for testing the electrical insulation capability of electrical components, assemblies, and devices. The test can be run manually with safety test probes / test tips or automatically.

Automatic test voltage adjustment with a ramp profile is performed electronically. The test voltage is very precise and therefore ideally suited for routine tests as well as for type and material tests.

Key Facts:

  • insulation resistance test devices DC up to 4 kV
  • Evaluation criterion: insulation resistance
  • Electronic test voltage adjustment
  • With safety current limitation
  • Optional cable break monitoring in four-wire technology

The GLP1-g insulation resistance test device – innovative, versatile, and compact

The test technology is built-in a robust industrial housing, specialized for this device class.

For optimal work, the installation angle can be easily adapted to the individual work situation. Whether sitting or standing, small or large – the viewing height of the display, the operation of the test device and the connection of the test object are thus always optimally adapted to the respective operator.

The GLP1-g offers a clear and concise presentation of tests. The intuitive operating concept greatly simplifies daily testing. The clear touch display is perfectly built-in the front and offers you the functionality you can expect from a modern test device today.

Depending on the equipment variant, the device dimensions are based on a robust and compact ½ 19″ or 19″ housing.

The test software

With the GLP1-g, you always have all relevant measured values in view. The clear display of the test results enables structured and thus efficient work, and facilitates the subsequent analysis of individual tests.

The measurement results are simultaneously displayed as a bar display (including tolerance spaces) and in digits. Test voltage, Test current, and test duration are clearly displayed in large, easily readable characters.

The test protocol with PrintCom

Free PC software for saving and printing test results

PrintCom is the simple and efficient solution for saving test results and printing test protocols. The test results can be archived and printed in Excel® or, alternatively, in OpenOffice® Calc.

The PC software PrintCom is included with the device. The device features a built-in test result memory. This can be read out by PrintCom after each test or at a later time. PrintCom saves the test results on the PC and enables the printing of a test protocol.

Read, display, and print test results.

Digital protocol logging is very easy with this software: it quickly transfers the test data via the serial interface and presents it clearly structured on your PC. Print the test protocol directly for your customers or save it as a PDF in an environmentally friendly manner.

Storage format of the test results

PrintCom stores your test results in an operator-friendly manner directly in Excel® format. Benefit from maximum flexibility in protocol creation.

  • The software already includes a wide selection of pre-configured Excel® test protocol templates in various layouts.
  • Easy customization: Adapt these templates directly in Excel® to your requirements. For example, add supplementary information or design the test protocol custom with your company logo.
  • You always have the option to create entirely new test protocol layouts yourself in Excel®.

Online mode

In online operation, the test device is permanently connected to a PC and PrintCom is started. As soon as a new test result is available after a test, it is immediately transferred to the PC and collected there. After completion of all tests, the collected results are saved.

Offline Mode

Alternatively, the test device can temporarily save the test results. This allows the test results to be loaded and saved in PrintCom at a later time.

Network

By configuring the storage path accordingly in PrintCom, the Excel® files can, of course, also be saved on the network.

PC Program – System requirements

To use PrintCom, you need an installed spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel® or OpenOffice Calc on your PC.
