Know How

Calibration

Calibration is the process of finding a relationship between two quantities that are unknown (when the measurable quantities are not given a particular value for the amount considered or found a standard for the quantity). When one of quantity is known, which is made or set with one device, another measurement is made as similar way as possible with the first device using a second device. The measurable quantities may differ in two devices which are equivalent. The device with the known or assigned correctness is called the standard. [source: Wikipedia]

In regards to the annual inspection of measuring devices all relevant test methods are calibrated and documented. In case the measured values are within tolerances defined by the manufacturer, the measuring device may be used.

In case there are inadmissible deviations, the measuring device has to be either adjusted or repaired.

Calibration

The periodic tester calibration is an essential precondition for your quality management. We calibrate your testers according to standards- on your site or at SCHLEICH.

Further service & portfolio
Calibration, maintenance and service for external devices from other manufacturers – as e.g. surge testers, high-voltage testers, safety- and function testser, winding testers and more.

The calibration is carried out according to national and international standards and fulfills the requirements from your audit.

Online-Calibration

As alternative to the on-site calibration, we also offer online-calibration via remote maintenance. Especially at long distances between SCHLEICH and our customers this saves time and significantly reduces the expense.

The calibration is, of course, according to international and national standards and also fulfills your audit´s requirements.
