SCHLEICH function test devices combine several electrical safety and quality tests in one compact system. They integrate the protective earth resistance test, the insulation resistance test, the high voltage test, and single or three-phase function test into a single device, making them ideally suited for end-of-line test stands and automated manufacturing processes.

Integrable safety tests
Before the function test is performed, the test device first conducts the safety tests on the device under test (DUT):
- protective conductor resistance
- insulation resistance
- High Voltage
- ARC detection
- leakage current, standard and medical
Built-in Function Test
As part of the function test, the test device first checks for a short circuit between L↔N or L1↔L2↔L3 and then applies a defined operating voltage to the device under test. The following electrical parameters are recorded and evaluated:
- continuity test
- TEST VOLTAGE: undervoltage, nominal voltage, overvoltage
- Current consumption: starting current, no-load current, load current
- Power consumption: apparent power, active power, reactive power
- Power factor (cos φ)
