SCHLEICH function test devices combine several electrical safety and quality tests in a compact system. They integrate the protective earth resistance test, the insulation resistance test, the high voltage test, and the single-phase function test into a single device, making them ideally suited for end-of-line test benches and automated manufacturing processes.

Built-in Safety Tests
Before the function test is performed, the test device first carries out the safety tests on the device under test (DUT – Device Under Test):
- protective conductor resistance

Built-in Function Test
As part of the function test, the test device first checks for short circuits between L+N and then applies a defined operating voltage to the device under test. Subsequently, the following electrical parameters are recorded and evaluated:
- continuity test

- Power consumption
- Power factor (cos φ)
