Furthermore, SCHLEICH is a member of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies of DIN and VDE) standards committee.

SCHLEICH GmbH is a third-generation, owner-managed family business. We think and act with a long-term perspective. Over the past seven decades, we have accumulated extensive expertise, and our economic development has been characterized by solid growth to this day. With Jan-Philipp Lahrmann joining the management board, the continuity of our corporate leadership is secured for the long term.

Our company headquarters have been located in Hemer, Sauerland, since 1952. Here, with 150 employees, we develop, design, and manufacture almost all components, including electrical systems, hardware, software, and mechanics, for our extensive product range.

We produce with a high degree of vertical integration, utmost care, and according to the highest quality standards. We develop, design, and manufacture almost all components – hardware, software, and mechanics – of our test devices, systems, and installations at our company site in Hemer, Sauerland. Computer-aided manufacturing control and our digital employee information system guarantee maximum efficiency and process reliability throughout the entire production chain.

Digital high-performance measurement technology – the core of every test device – is a key competence of SCHLEICH. All electronic modules are fundamentally in-house developments and are continuously optimized for specific applications. The production of measurement and electronics boards takes place exclusively in-house, utilizing high-quality components and high-end processors on our modern in-line SMD placement systems.

Furthermore, we are capable of manufacturing various Accessories components such as test covers, contacting units, workpiece carriers with device under test mounts, robotic grippers, or production lines using our state-of-the-art machinery.

Last but not least, it is our qualified employees who, with attention to detail, perseverance, and commitment, ensure the proven SCHLEICH quality and make sure that together we improve a little every day.

Since 2012, SCHLEICH has already been awarded the "TOP 100 Innovator" seal of approval five times for its innovation management.

The TOP 100 innovation competition is based on an independent, scientifically sound process and is not supported by companies with external interests or sponsors. Those who wish to become a TOP 100 innovator undergo a thorough selection process, which meticulously examines the development status of their innovation management. The analysis focuses on both the present and the future viability of a company. The evaluation is not based on individual innovations, but on innovation management as a whole.

To ensure all companies have equal opportunities, the award is granted in three size categories: up to 50 employees, 51 to 200 employees, and more than 200 employees.

In 2022, we once again prevailed in the "51 to 200 employees" category of the TOP 100 competition, which is unique throughout Germany. Through a rigorous scientific pre-selection process, we advanced to the expert jury round and received the coveted award for our company's innovation achievements.
