Our involvement ranges from cooperation with the West Coast University of Applied Sciences and the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences to the regular publication of technical articles on the theory and practice of testing procedures in the trade press. In addition, SCHLEICH is SCHLEICH of the standards working group of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies in DIN and VDE).

Our company headquarters has been located in Hemer in the Sauerland region since 1952. Here, our 150 employees develop, design, and manufacture almost all components, such as electrical, hardware, software, and mechanical components, for our wide range of products.

We manufacture with a high degree of vertical integration, the utmost care, and in accordance with the highest quality standards. We develop, design, and manufacture almost all components—hardware, software, and mechanics—for our testing devices, systems, and equipment at our company headquarters in Hemer in the Sauerland region. Computer-aided production control and our digital employee information system guarantee maximum efficiency and process reliability throughout the entire production chain.

High-performance digital measurement technology—the heart of every testing device—is one of SCHLEICH core competencies. All electronic assemblies are developed in-house and are continuously optimized for specific applications. The measurement and electronics cards are manufactured exclusively in-house using high-quality components and high-end processors on our modern in-line SMD assembly lines.

In addition, we are able to manufacture a wide variety of accessory components such as test hoods, contacts, workpiece carriers with test object holders, robot grippers, or production lines with our state-of-the-art machinery.

Last but not least, it is our qualified employees who, with their attention to detail, perseverance, and commitment, ensure the proven SCHLEICH and make sure that we all get a little better every day.

Since 2012 SCHLEICH has been awarded the "TOP 100 Innovator" seal of approval five times for its innovation management.

The TOP 100 innovation competition is based on an independent, scientifically sound process and is not supported by companies with external interests or sponsors. Anyone who wants to become a TOP 100 innovator undergoes a thorough selection process in which the development status of innovation management is examined in detail. The analysis focuses on both the present and the future viability of a company. It is not individual innovations that are evaluated, but innovation management as a whole.

To ensure that all companies have the same opportunities, the rating is awarded in three size categories: up to 50 employees, 51 to 200 employees, and more than 200 employees.

In the category "51 to 200 employees," we were once again able to prevail in the TOP 100 competition, which is unique in Germany, in 2022. In a complex scientific pre-selection process, we made it to the expert jury round, where we received the coveted award for our company's innovative achievements.
