Product DescriptionThe device delivers a manually or automatically adjustable sinusoidal potential-free high voltage from 0 up to approx. 5500V AC. The rule 2*Un+1000V (Un = nominal voltage) is the guide value for the detection of the test voltage. Max. 6000V therefore deliver not only the test voltages for routine tests according to standards, but also a sufficiently high test voltage for type tests and material tests. Alternatively, we also supply testers up to 30KV AC and more. For special requirements, please feel free to contact us any time. We will offer a tailor-made solution. The tests are normally performed with two safety test pistols. The test pistols can be delivered with or without integrated start switch and with various cable lengths. The test pistol with integrated push-button is a speciality. The test probe tip is pushed against the test object - this activates a push-button inside the test pistol. Only after the push-buttons of both test pistols have been activated, the test is started automatically. If you release one of the test pistols during the test, the tester will interrupt the test immediately. This guarantees a secure voltage check and cable-break check. For the communication with the electronic periphery, the tester is equipped with a serial interface. It is possible to print or, alternatively, remote-control the tester via a PC. The remote control is performed with our software NetComXi or PrintCom. A test step generated in NetCom is transmitted to the tester. After the test step is performed, it reports its test result back to the PC. NetCom stores the result on the PC. This is the ideal solution, because you have a test system that documents and records all test steps. The testers of the Handheld family, the GLP1 family and the GLP2 family offer the unique feature to be operated in one network with a central PC. Test programs can be transmitted to the testers and test results can be sent back to the PC, where they are stored. The complete data exchange is controlled by our PC software NetCom Xi. Owing to its various remote-control features, the high-voltage tester can ideally be integrated into automatic production lines. I/O interface or RS232 interface: both allow a perfect communication with your control (e.g. PLC). For the 19" installation, an assembly kit is available. Product Overview | Photo | Devices |

Features| Feature | solid aluminum metal enclosure | | The tester has a solid industrial design. For industrial applications, instable plastic enclosures have major disadvantages. Especially in the rough day-to-day production, high-voltage testers must have a great stability and long-term safety. |
| Feature | automatic storage of the setting values in the tester | | After switching on the mains voltage, in order to avoid operating errors, the device boots with the parameters and the test program of the preceding test. |
| Feature | adjustment of all parameters via comfortable menu navigation | | The comfortable menus make sure that the operator can adjust all test parameters directly at the tester. An external PC for the configuration of the tester is not necessary! |
| Feature | access-safe control | | The tester is secured with a key switch, which activates the mains. |
| Feature | access-safe software | | Inputs can be disabled via a password or an optional key switch in the set-up menu. |
| Feature | mains and load regulation with automatic voltage adjustment | | In order to make sure that the test results are constant and correspond to the safety requirements, the tester keeps the output voltage constant from no-load to full load and over the mains voltage range within the setting limits. This is done with a digital PI controller! |
| Feature | electronic test time | | The electronic test time ensures that the test time remains the same for every tested product, which enables constant test results. |
| Feature | display of test parameters and test results via LCD | | The operator can monitor the test via an LCD. After a test object has been tested, the result remains visible on the LCD, so that the operator can easily view the test results. |
| Feature | indication of test steps and individual results via LED lamps | | Various LED lamps (red, yellow, green) serve for indicating the status of the test step. Every test method has its own LED lamp. |
| Feature | maximum output current at the high-voltage test of 100 mA AC (optionally far more) | | This device offers sufficient output current for testing capacitive loads in the AC mode and corresponds to standards that require an output power of 500VA. |
| Feature | monitoring of minimum current during the high-voltage test | | The flowing minimum current is monitored. This ensures that the test object is connected correctly and that the high-voltage test is being performed. |
| Feature | built-in safety devices | | The connection of safety contacts and an Emergency Stop allow to connect a safety device for the high-voltage protection of the operator. |
| Feature | monitoring of maximum voltage in automatic mode | | Monitoring the manually adjusted voltage if a programmable upper limit is exceeded, ensures that the test object isn’t damaged by too high a test voltage during the test. |
| Feature | monitoring of minimum voltage in automatic mode | | Monitoring the manually adjusted voltage if a programmable lower limit is fallen below, ensures that the test object is not tested with two low a voltage. |
| Feature | calibration solely via the software | | The complete calibration is performed via the software. It is not necessary to open the device. |
| Feature | actual-value storage for the results in the tester | | The tester can store test results inside the tester until they are read out by a PC program or by another control (e.g. PLC) at a later time. Available PC programs are PrintCom and NetCom. |
| Feature | set-up adjustments | | In the set-up of the tester you can configure the complete behavior of the tester and adapt it to your requirements. At the device itself, you can configure everything as desired, from language selection to printer control or interface configuration. No PC is required for the configuration. |
| Feature | PC software: PrintCom | | This software allows easy reading-in of test results, storage in an EXCEL® file and comfortable printing of self-generated test programs. |
| Feature | PC software: NetCom | | With this software the tester can be remote-controlled completely. All test programs and test results are stored in a central ACCESS® database. The test results can be printed and statistically evaluated in many different ways. |
