Product Description

Shortly after personal computers were introduced to the market, SCHLEICH, as one of the first manufacturers of testing devices, concentrated consistently on the integration of PCs into testers. PCs serve as the central control of the testers. Owing to the long-term experience of our engineers and technicians in the application of this system, we can offer you a perfect test system with extensive software, high quality and reliability. Both, hardware and software are developed, manufactured and permanently improved by SCHLEICH. Thus, the multitude of SCHLEICH’s innovations are setting a high standard for the technology of modern test systems on the basis of Windows® operating systems. Upon working with the program, great emphasis has been put on the operating features typical for Windows®. For Windows® users, working with the GLP3-2000 is therefore uncomplicated.

The system offers: a clear indication of the test process for the operator, extensive input and configuration features for the person that does the set-up. Quality assurance is of great importance, as well. For this purpose, an extensive, excellent statistical analysis is integrated into the tester. And, most important, you are able to document the tested quality of your products with a great variety of protocol print-outs.

The basis of the result documentation is the storage of data. The data can be stored both locally in the tester and centrally on a server in the network. If several testers are operated, they all access a central database. The interrogation of test programs and the storage of test results is done at very high speed, which guarantees an optimum data management. The GLP3-software can also be installed at other PCs, e.g. in the planning department or in the quality management department. At these PCs, it is possible to generate test programs or do statistical analyses independently from the testers. On this data highway, the complex networking concept even allows the integration of the Handheld family, the GLP1-e family and the GLP2 family. In practice, this means that in an extensive production process tests done by testers of different types at different points within the production process lead to a central storage of data. A test protocol with all the selected data is generated for the respective product.

Within the world wide web, even testers from different factories all over the world can be connected. In the central test data management, these are milestones that give a clear picture of SCHLEICH’s persistence in realising forward-looking visions and data concepts with an adaptable infrastructure of technology.

Like at the GLP2, the individual test methods necessary for your testing task can be selected from a great variety of test methods. The tester can test 1-phase or 3-phase products. In addition to electrical tests, the GLP3-2000 can execute and automatically evaluate various physical tests. With its extendable matrix, the tester offers, if necessary, more than only the current supply connections to the test object. Despite its wide variety of applications, hardware and software that can be used in a very flexible way, the GLP3-2000 testers are manufactured at low cost but tailor-made for your individual task. Depending on the features of the tester, the GLP3-2000 is installed in a table-top case, in a 19" rolling container or in a 19" cabinet. 

Contrary to nearly all testing devices available on the market, the tester has an automatic switch-over between the high-voltage test and the low voltage tests. Therefore, the test object only needs to be connected once!

The GLP3-2000 is the basis for the most complex testers suitable for a great variety of tasks and for tester structures within networks. Of course, the tester can exchange data with any common interface. It goes without saying that the testers can be operated in a network.

    The testers can be operated in a network with a central database for test programs and test results. This encables an optimum central control of the testers. The testers operate with the same test programs and the results are stored in a joint database. Therefore, test results can also be found in the databases using order numbers or lot numbers, even if if they were produced at different lines.
