SCHLEICH’S story of success started with the automatic winding of coils for electromotors. Machines for this purpose have been manufactured by us for more than 30 years. Throughout the world, more than 1000 machines are currently in use.

For many years know, we have been the market leader in the branch for this type of winding machines. We have been able to reach this position through perfect know-how, innovative ideas and the consequent integration of electronic components into the machines. Our machines have been controlled by PCs for many years now. The graphic user surface allows even inexperienced PC users a user-friendly and fast working with the machines. Our integrated motor database allows to store all winding data like dimensions of the coil, number of turns, diameter of wire, r.p.m., etc. Motors that are stored can be found and loaded very quickly. The machine automatically adapts to the new winding electrically and mechanically.

For the operator, a great number of standard and special formers are available for many different winding tasks and coil forms. For winding, first the formers are installed in the machine. This is followed by an automatic adjustment of the distance between the formers by electric motor. After this, all mechanical preparations for the winding of coils are completed. The winding process, that is executed automatically, produces optimum non-crossing coils, which can be inserted into the motor very fast.

Our winding machines offer a considerable rationalization for motor maintenance and series production. The product range of our winding machines is very extensive. The range of application goes from motors size 56 to motors size 450. We deliver machines for the production of wind-driven generators.
