Product DescriptionThe main field of application for Handheld testers is the portable application at the location of the customer. For this reason, the test installations are integrated into a robust aluminum enclosure. Extensive accessories like transport case and shoulder straps facilitate the handling of the device. This compact and light tester is thus well-suited for service abroad. The test object is connected via a test socket. Via the test probe, the tests can be performed against this socket. As an alternative, the tester can also be connected to the enclosure (PE feeding point) of the test object via a connection cable. In this case, the tests are performed against this PE-point.

Interfaces RS232 remote control of the testing device by PCremote control of the testing device by PLC (via RS232)For the communication with the peripheral electronic equipment, the tester is equipped with a serial interface. It is possible to print or remote-control the tester via a PC. The remote control is done with our software NetComXi or PrintCom. A test step generated in NetCom is transmitted to the tester, where it is performed. After this, the test result is transmitted back to the PC. NetCom stores the result on the PC. This is the ideal method, because you now have a test system that documents and records all test steps. The testers of the Handheld family, the GLP1 family and the GLP2 family have the unique possibility to be operated in one network with a central PC. Test programs can be transmitted to the testers and test results can be sent back to the PC, where they are stored. The complete data exchange is controlled by our PC-software NetCom XI. For details please refer to NetComXi or PrintCom.

Features| Feature | automatic storage of the setting values in the tester | | In order to avoid operating errors, the device always boots with the parameters of the preceding test. | | | | | Feature | adjustment of all parameters via comfortable menu navigation | | The comfortable menus make sure that the operator can adjust all test parameters correctly. | | | | Feature | electronic test time | | The electronic test time ensures that the test time remains the same for every tested product, which enables constant test results. | | | | Feature | test probe for ground-continuity test and insulation-resistance test | | The PE and the insulation to the enclosure of the test object are tested with one test probe. For this purpose, the enclosure of the test object is connected to the tester via a ground lead. This allows fast and safe testing. | | | | Feature | electronic PE current regulation | | The electronic constant-current regulation ensures that the PE test current doesn’t fall below the value required by VDE. In addition, the regulation is very fast, which results in short test times. | | | | Feature | electronic IR voltage adjustment | | The electronic constant-current regulation ensures that the IR test voltage doesn’t fall below the value required by VDE. In addition, the regulation is very fast, which results in short test times. | | | | Feature | calibration solely via the software | | The complete calibration is performed via the software. It is not necessary to open the device. Thus, there is no danger that the technician touches the high voltage. | | | | Feature | PC software: PrintCom | | This software allows easy reading in of test results, storage in an EXCEL® file and comfortable printing of self-generated test programs. | | | | Feature | PC software: NetCom | | With this software the tester can be remote-controlled completely. All test programs and test results are stored in a central ACCESS® database. Test programs can be transmitted to the tester. The test results can be printed and statistically evaluated in many different ways. | | |
