Product DescriptionThe devices are very easy to handle. The test programs are to be selected via the respective standards. The necessary test electrode and the distance between the electrodes for the respective standard are indicated. The distance needs to be adjusted via an adjusting gauge. After this, the oil must be filled into the test vessel and the test station must be closed. Now, the test is started and the test sequences are performed fully automatically. The respective test sequences for the usual national and international standards and test specifications are stored in the oil tester. In addition, the operator can define and store up to 10 test sequences in the tester. The following test processes are available: 13 standard test sequences for the respective standards IEC 156/95 VDE 0370/96 BS 5874/80 UTE C27-221/74 UNE 21309/89 NEN 10156 SEV 3141/69 CEI 10-1/73 ASTM-D 1816/90 ASTM-D 877/90 JIS 2101/82 JIS Si 2101/82 IS 6855/92
10 freely programmable test sequences short test program for a fast evaluation of the condition (duration of the test: 5min) overload test, single disruptive breakdown test voltage withstand test (1min … 24h) with programmable rate of rise step test (1 … 10 steps)
Every oil sample is either automatically marked with a consecutive number by the PortaTest or with a number entered by the operator. After every test, a detailed test protocol is printed on the built-in thermal printer. In addition to the standards used for the test, the print-out contains the date, time, sample number, individual disruptive breakdown values, average values and standard deviations. If necessary, the test results can also be transmitted from the oil tester to the PC via the PC program PrintCom. With PrintCom, the test results can also be stored and it is possible to print test protocols at the PC. PrintCom stores the results in EXCEL® format. The operator can configure the EXCEL® form as desired. It is, therefore, very easy to create user-defined test protocols. For further details regarding PrintCom, please refer to the chapter "PrintCom" in the brochure. Owing to the well-readable graphics display, the operation is very easy and user-friendly. Four function keys below the display are sufficient for the operation. They serve for selecting the test sequences, for the input of data, for the configuration of user-specific test sequences and for the general configuration of the tester in the SetUp, where, for example, the language, etc. can be selected. Features| Feature | solid aluminum metal enclosure | | The tester has a solid industrial design. For industrial applications, instable plastic enclosures have major disadvantages. Especially in the rough day-to-day production, high-voltage testers must have a great stability and long-term safety. | | | | Feature | HV adjustment of release current and output voltage at no-load | | This option offers an easy and safe way to adjust release currents and output voltages, because the parameters are adjusted without activated high voltage. | | | | | Feature | adjustment of all parameters via comfortable menu navigation | | The comfortable menus make sure that the operator can adjust all test parameters correctly. | | | | Feature | access-safe control | | The tester is secured with a key switch, which activates the mains. | | | | Feature | electronic test time | | The electronic test time ensures that the test time remains the same for every tested product, which enables constant test results. | | | | Feature | display of test parameters and test results via LCD at the front panel | | The operator can monitor the test via an LCD. After a test object has been tested, the result remains visible on the LCD, so that the operator can easily view the test results. | | | | Feature | calibration solely via the software | | The complete calibration is performed via the software. It is not necessary to open the device. | | | | Feature | actual-value storage for the results in the tester | | The tester can store test results inside the tester until they are read out by a PC program at a later time. Available PC programs are PrintCom and NetCom. | | | | Feature | PC-Software: PrintCom | | This software allows easy reading-in of test results, storage in an EXCEL® file and comfortable printing of self-generated test programs. | | |
