Product Description

Our compact testers performing resistance tests, surge tests, high-voltage tests, partial-discharge tests and sense-of-rotation tests in a connection of the stator - fast and reliably with reproducible results - give an impressive image of the performance and reliability of SCHLEICH’s products. The unique evaluation concept of the surge test underlines the quality. The surge test is the most important test method for testing insulation faults in a winding. Our stator and armature testers are individually designed depending on the necessary number of winding connections of the test object. All connections like winding, temperature probe and case are connected only once. After this, the test is performed with automatic switch-over between the connections and test methods. This is followed by an automatic evaluation; at the end of a test process, you will receive a "go" or "no go" result. The switch-over between the connections is done via a freely programmable, high-voltage-proof relay matrix.

For the winding testers, Schleich, as one of the first manufacturers of testing devices, concentrated, like at the GLP3-2000, consistently, successfully and reliably on the integration of PCs into the testers. Owing to the long-term experience of our engineers and technicians in the application of this system, we can offer you a perfect test system with extensive software. Both, hardware and software are designed and produced by SCHLEICH. In order to be leading in the field of measuring technology, SCHLEICH is continuously innovating its products. The great number of innovations is setting a high standard for the technology of modern winding testers with Windows® control.

The system offers: a clear display of the test process for the operator, extensive input and configuration features for the person that does the set-up. Quality assurance is of great importance, as well. For this purpose, an extensive, excellent statistical analysis is integrated into the tester. And, most important, you are able to document the tested quality of your products with a great variety of protocol print-outs. Regarding the generation of networks with MTC3 testers, the same features as for the GLP3-2000 teters apply.

The individual test methods necessary for the stator test can be selected from a great variety of test methods. Manual or automatic single or dual test station – with or without test cover or test table – we have the perfect solution. This immense flexibility of hardware and software allows us to produce a tester perfectly suited for your task at a favorable price. Depending on the features, the tester is installed in a 19” rolling container or in a 19" cabinet.

The MTC3 is controlled by an integrated industrial PC. The software allows fully-automatic tests and semi-automatic manual tests. If you need to search and locate a fault at the test object, the tester provides manual individual tests. The MTC3 therefore offers a lot more than a standard tester for series production.

1. Fully-Automatic Test

The test program consists of a sequence of individual test steps and every test step consists of a test method (e.g. surge test), set values and tolerances. After starting the tester, the individual test steps are performed fully-automatically one after the other and without interruption. Every test step is evaluated automatically. At the end of the test, you receive a total result.

At testers with, for example, 6 winding connections, the tester automatically switches over between the connections. This is the pre-condition for the automatic test process.

2. Semi-Automatic Test

The test program consists of a sequence of individual test steps and every test step consists of a test method (e.g. surge test), set values and tolerances. After starting the tester, the operator can select the test step that he wants to test. Then, for example, he contacts the lamellas of an armature with the test probes and starts the test. The tester shows the measured value in the bottom half of the screen in large characters. As soon as the operator activates a button, the measured values are automatically compared to the set values of the test step and then evaluated. Now, the operator can select another test step, etc. This can be repeated until you have results from all test steps. It is possible to test individual test steps several times. The complete test process can also be cancelled and continued later. The semi-automatic test is based on a test program with a fixed test step sequence with set values and tolerances. However, this test step sequence can be performed by the operator in the desired order.

3. Manual Test

There is no test program as a reference. The operator can perform individual test methods (e.g. surge test or resistance test, etc.) and connect the test methods to any desired connection clamp of the test object. During the test, the measured values are displayed in well-readable digits. After the test has been completed, the measured value is transferred to a summary of all measured values. Thus the operator can perform individual tests the same way as if he had individual testing devices. The results are accumulated in a summary and can be stored or printed.

    Features

    Featurecompact testing device

The tester can ideally be integrated into the production. Despite the compact design, the tester can easily be maintained and calibrated.

    Feature

automatic storage of the setting values in the tester

In order to facilitate the operation, the device always boots with the paramters of the preceding test.

    Feature

adjustment of all parameters via comfortable menu navigation

The comfortable adjustment makes sure that the operator can adjust all test parameters correctly and is able to operate the tester with optimum safety.

    Feature

    access-safe control

The tester is secured with a key switch, which serves to activate the mains.

    Feature

    pre-programmed operation

In the tester it is possible to pre-program many hundreds of thousands of test programs. Thus, also untrained operators are able to test motors. You just need to load the respective test program (motor type) out of the database, connect the test leads - and the test and the evaluation are automatically performed by the tester.

    FeaturePC control

The PC control provides the operator with all features typical for a PC. The software design is "Windows-like". If you know how to operate a PC, you know how to operate this tester.

    Feature

clear indication of the test process

According to our customers, the software is optimally user-oriented. The clearly structured display enables even untrained personnel to work with the tester in an optimum way. For specialists, of course, a great number of different additional displays are available. These displays are still clearly structured.

    Featureintegrated user management

Integrated user management for an optimum management of access rights for the individual users working with the tester.

    Feature

    resusult database

The results are stored in an ACCESS database or, if necessary, on an SQL server. The databases allow extensive and fast searching and statistical analysis. Test results can be filtered out of the database by means of a great variety of search keys. For printing, you are provided with many different print-out options. It goes without saying that the testers can be operated in a network.

    Feature

    network operation

The testers can be operated in a network with a central database for test programs and test results. This encables an optimum central control of the testers. The testers operate with the same test programs and the results are stored in a joint database. Therefore, test results can also be found in the databases using order numbers or lot numbers, even if if they were produced at different lines.

    Feature

    integrated statistical analysis

The integrated statistical evaluation is ideal for analysing the production. The results can be printed. In addition, it is possible to export the data into other systems, like, for example, QS-Stat.
