Product DescriptionAt model V1, first the PE tests and the insulation resistance tests are performed via a test probe with integrated operatiing element. This is followed by the high voltage test via two safety test pistols. At model V2, the test object is connected to ground (central PE-point). All tests can be performed against this ground point with the same test pistol. You can change between the test methods by activating the selection switches on a control panel that serves as an operating unit. For the safety of the operator it is necessary that, during the high voltage test, the high voltage switch on the control panel is activated permanently. At model V1, the high voltage tests are performed with two safety test pistols. The test pistols can be delivered with or without integrated start switch and with varying cable lengths. At model V2, a test pistol with integrated pushbutton is used. The test probe is pressed against the test object. The pressure activates a pushbutton inside the test pistol, which starts the test.

It is possible to print or, alternatively, remote-control the tester via a PC with our software NetComXi or PrintCom. A test step generated in NetCom is transmitted to the tester, where it is performed and the result is returned to the PC. NetCom stores the result on the PC. This is the ultimate solution, because you have a test system, which documents and logs all test steps. In addition, it is possible to operate all testers of the following families in one network with a central PC: Handheld, GLP1 and GLP2. Test programs can be transmitted to the testers and the test results can be returned to the PC, where they are stored. The complete data exchange is controlled via our PC software NetComXi. For details, please refer to "NetComXi" or "PrintCom".

Features| Feature | solid aluminum metal enclosure | | The tester has a solid industrial design. For industrial applications, instable plastic enclosures have major disadvantages. Especially in the rough day-to-day production, high-voltage testers must have a great stability and long-term safety. |
| Feature | HV adjustment of release current and output voltage at no-load | | This option offers an easy and safe way to adjust release currents and output voltages, because the parameters are adjusted without activated high voltage. |
| Feature | automatic storage of the setting values in the tester | | After switching on the mains voltage, in order to avoid operating errors, the device boots with the parameters and the test program of the preceding test. |
| Feature | adjustment of all parameters via comfortable menu navigation | | The comfortable menus make sure that the operator can adjust all test parameters directly at the tester. An external PC for the configuration of the tester is not necessary! |
| Feature | access-safe control | | Inputs can be disabled via a password in the setting menu. |
| Feature | electronic test time | | The electronic test time ensures that the test time remains the same for every tested product, which enables constant test results. |
| Feature | display of test parameters and test results via LCD | | The operator can monitor the test via an LCD. After a test object has been tested, the result remains visible on the LCD, so that the operator can easily view the test results. |
| Feature | indication of test steps and individual results via LED lamps | | Various LED lamps (red, yellow, green) serve for indicating the status of the test step. Every test method has its own LED lamp. |
| Feature | maximum output current at the high-voltage test of 100 mA AC (optionally more) | | This device offers sufficient output current for testing capacitive loads in the AC mode and corresponds to standards that require an output power of 500VA. |
| Feature | monitoring of minimum current during the high-voltage test | | The flowing minimum current is monitored. This ensures that the test object is connected correctly and that the high-voltage test is being performed. |
| Feature | built-in safety monitoring | | The connection of safety contacts and an Emergency Stop allow to connect a safety device for the high-voltage protection of the operator. |
| Feature | test probe for PE test and insulation-resistance test | | The PE and the insulation to the enclosure of the test object are tested with one test probe. For this purpose, the enclosure of the test object is connected to the tester via a ground lead. This allows fast and safe testing. |
| Feature | electronic PE current regulation | | The electronic constant-current regulation ensures that the PE test current doesn’t fall below the value required by VDE. In addition, the regulation is very fast, which results in short test times. The PE test has sufficient reserves for being able to perform tests from a distance of several meters, which is necessary especially at large machines. The tester has, of course, also a PE minimum current monitoring, which checks, whether the required test current is fallen below. |
| Feature | PE evaluation selectable between voltage drop or resistance | | According to the standards, the evaluation of the PE test is selectable. |
| Feature | electronic IR voltage adjustment | | The electronic constant-current regulation ensures that the IR test voltage doesn’t fall below the value required by VDE. In addition, the regulation is very fast, which results in short test times. |
| Feature | calibration solely via the software | | The complete calibration is performed via the software. It is not necessary to open the device. |
| Feature | actual-value storage for the results in the tester | | The tester can store test results inside the tester until they are read out by a PC program or by another control (e.g. PLC) at a later time. Available PC programs are PrintCom and NetCom. |
| Feature | set-up adjustments | | In the set-up of the tester you can configure the complete behavior of the tester and adapt it to your requirements. At the device itself, you can configure everything as desired, from language selection to printer control or interface configuration. No PC is required for the configuration. |
| Feature | PC software: PrintCom | | This software allows easy reading in of test results, storage in an EXCEL® file and comfortable printing of self-generated test programs. |
| Feature | PC software: NetCom | | With this software the tester can be remote-controlled completely. All test programs and test results are stored in a central ACCESS® database. The test results can be printed and statistically evaluated in many different ways. |
